Leather as an art media and a craft has allowed me to move towards these goals. By knowing myself and the yearnings within, I'm able to use this media as an outlet. Each of my styles shows a different aspect of development.

My functional bags show development in my craft.....a time of learning.
My reverse applique and beaded bags.....awakening.
My painted, embossed and blockprinted designs......an art form.

Using images derived from nature and classic Japanese design allows me to explore different themes and surface techniques on my handbags. Thus I can move away from making plain leather bags towards unique accessories which are both distinctive and artistic that i can enjoy the look and feel of.
